YWAM 
What we do
We are a ministry base, operating since 2001. We don't run
schools as yet. If you want to lead an urban DTS which is focused
on youth, we need you.
We work with inner-city youth, and are open to anything any ywammer wants to do something along those lines.
Our kids are not post-modern, they are an interesting mix of African
tradition and something else which we haven't figured out yet. Most of
the white middle-class youthwork theories have no place here. If you
want learn something new then come on over.
Staff
We have 8 full-time and 2 part-time staff. We need:
- an IT specialist and a communications person (we
already do a weekly newsletter and a VCD every couple of months, but
they are amateur efforts).
- a youth worker. This is hardcore inner-city
stuff. Not many people are up for it, but if you've got guts, join
the party.
- an administrator. That involves basic accounting,
banking, paying the bills and making sure we don't spend too much money.
Anybody who wants to do urban youth missions is welcome - but please
bring your vision with you and tell us how you are going to implement
it.
